At Acme, we build an insanely simple and fast landing page builder perfect for startups. It helps startups to create compelling landing pages and start gather leads before they even build a product or service.

Join a small and fully remote team of experienced developers and designers building a next generation landing page builder for startups. We embrace flexible work arrangements and believe in supporting every team member.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and improve the web application
Focus on overall the web application user experience and quality
Collaborate with team members to design and develop new features
Manage project goals and priorities, and be responsible for technical solutions

Requirements

Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript Frameworks: Angular, Bootstrap Other technologies: SCSS, Docker

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, similar technical field of study or equivalent experience.
1+ years experience of building front-end systems or providing front-end development to products or online services.
Experience working with JavaScript and one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, C#, Ruby, Python or Go. Interest to learn TypeScript.
Understanding of how modern web frameworks work. Knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript/ES6+. Understanding browsers and the DOM. Knowledge of Angular 2+ framework.
Interest and ability to learn other coding languages, frameworks and tools as needed.
Strong communication skills in verbal and written English. You can validate and communicate your decisions clearly.

Nice to have

Understanding of typical web application and micro-services patterns
Knowledge of open source libraries, frameworks and tools
Some industry experience with AWS or similar cloud providers
Strong interest in open source and learning new technologies

Interview process

Recruiter call: you will have a 5 - 10 minute phone call with one of our recruiters

Live coding interview: you will be given one task to solve in a real-time code editor

Onsite interview: you will be invited out to our office for a technical interview with the team

Phone interview: you will get to meet the hiring manager and the team you will be working with
